Psychiatry Practice Houten offers diagnostics and (pharmacological) treatment for psychiatric problems and disorders for adults (Dutch and English-speaking). For those who do not speak Dutch or English, please ask them to bring a relative or friend who does.People from all cultures are welcome, but please note that my expertise is not in transcultural psychiatry. If the mental health problems are strongly interwoven with thecultural background please consider referring you to i-psy. The treatment can be done individually or together with a partner or family member.

You can refer clients for treatment of most psychiatric problems/disorders, see below. However, the practice offers no crisis care . This means that no acute care is provided or where (very) intensive treatment (hospitalization, partial hospitalization, or intensive home treatment and/or support) is needed. This includes, among others, acute suicidality or psychotic destabilization. The practice also does not provide care under the WvGGZ. The care provided is by appointment only and at the practice location (or digitally). If in doubt, it is good to consult in advance via info@psychiatriehouten.nl.
